Noah Jones
Noah Jones was a Black American man from the Montgomery, Alabama area. He was the younger son of Candy and Micah Jones and the brother of Miles. Noah met Elliot Landry around 2006–2007, when Noah was approximately two and Elliot was approximately three. The boys grew up as chosen brothers, with Elliot becoming part of the Jones household’s daily life after Candy began regularly caring for him in 2008.
Early Life and Family
Noah grew up beside Miles in the Jones household. Candy and Micah’s close relationship with Elliot and his mother, Jazmine Landry, joined the Jones and Landry families during the boys’ early childhood. Noah was approximately two when he first met Elliot, who was approximately three, while Miles was approximately five. By 2008, when Candy began providing regular childcare, Noah was approximately four, Elliot was five, and Miles was approximately seven.
Noah joked easily with Miles and could become blunt when someone targeted Elliot. He participated in Elliot’s everyday support within the Jones household but was not present for Miles’s McDonald’s confrontation.

Noah and Elliot’s relationship began in early childhood. Their bond developed through daily household life, shared food and routines, and Noah’s ordinary participation in the care the Jones family provided.
When Elliot became severely overheated and lost consciousness during physical education in 2015, both boys were eleven. Noah stayed beside him in the nurse’s office while he regained consciousness slowly. He told Elliot, “You don’t gotta talk yet. Just stay. Just be here.” Once Elliot was awake, Noah said, “Don’t scare me like that again… You’re too big to be fainting. I can’t catch you, dummy.”
At fifteen, Noah joined Candy, Micah, and Miles when Elliot became critically ill with COVID-19. He helped prepare Elliot for transport and then followed the family van with Candy and Micah while Miles rode with Elliot.
